REFUND & CANCELLATION  POLICY

Governing Entity: Raj Exports (India), operating under the brand name Wood Mount

1. GENERAL PROVISIONS

This Refund and Returns Policy (“Policy”) governs the rights, obligations, and liabilities arising from any claims or requests for refund, return, or replacement of goods purchased from Wood Mount, a proprietary brand of Raj Exports (India), and shall be construed in accordance with the prevailing laws of India.

By placing an order with the Company, the customer (hereinafter referred to as “Purchaser”) acknowledges and agrees to the terms set forth herein. These terms shall be deemed to form an integral part of the contractual understanding between the Purchaser and the Company.

2. EXCLUSIONARY CLAUSE

Subject to applicable laws, the Company shall not be obligated to provide any refund, replacement, or exchange, except in instances where:

  • The goods delivered manifest substantial manufacturing defects,
  • The goods are materially inconsistent with the specifications confirmed in writing by the Company, or
  • The return claim is raised within forty-eight (48) hours from the time of delivery, accompanied by visual proof of defect or damage.

The Company disclaims all liability for minor variations in texture, grain, shade, and dimensions of solid wood products, as these are intrinsic attributes of natural materials and shall not constitute grounds for return.

3. NON-REFUNDABLE TRANSACTIONS

The following categories of products and transactions shall be strictly non-refundable and non-returnable:

  • Bespoke, customized, or made-to-order items requested as per Purchaser’s specifications;
  • Products that have been used, assembled, altered, or damaged due to mishandling post-delivery;
  • Purchases made during promotional sales, clearance events, or under special pricing conditions;
  • Any order cancelled after twenty-four (24) hours from the time of confirmation.

4. CONDITION PRECEDENT FOR RETURN

No return shall be entertained unless:

  1. A formal written request for return is submitted to support@woodmount.in, clearly stating the Order ID and basis of claim;
  2. Such request is acknowledged and authorized in writing by the Company;
  3. The product is preserved in its original condition, unused, and returned in its entirety with original packaging and invoice.

All returns are subject to a thorough quality check upon receipt by the Company, and any product found inconsistent with the above conditions shall be deemed non-returnable, and the claim shall stand repudiated.

5. DISCRETIONARY CLAUSE

The Company, at its sole and absolute discretion, reserves the right to:

  • Offer a partial refund or store credit in lieu of full refund,
  • Charge administrative/restocking fees not exceeding 25% of the product value,
  • Refuse or reject any claim that lacks merit or contravenes the terms herein.

The determination made by the Company in respect of refund eligibility shall be final, binding, and conclusive.

6. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Under no circumstances shall Raj Exports (India) or its representatives be held liable for indirect, consequential, incidental, or punitive damages arising from any refund or return transaction. The Company’s liability, if any, shall not exceed the original invoice value of the disputed product.

7. FORCE MAJEURE

No refund or return shall be enforceable against the Company for delays, defects, or damages occasioned by events of force majeure, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, government restrictions, supply chain disruptions, or any event beyond reasonable control.

8. JURISDICTION & DISPUTE RESOLUTION

All disputes arising under this Policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts at Churu, Rajasthan, and shall be governed by the laws of India.
